OnVista launches Tradingbird, the first intelligent financial community. With Tradingbird, the OnVista Group is creating additional opportunities to further boost revenues in the financial markets sector and to broaden the OnVista target group. The close link between the financial community and the OnVista finance portal offers active investors the ideal combination of an innovative financial community and an independent financial information website.
The OnVista Group sells the online advertising marketing firm Ad2Net, which does not form part of the future core business, financial markets.

The four major shareholders of OnVista AG – Burda Digital Ventures GmbH, Fritz Oidtmann, Stephan Schubert and Michael W. Schwetje – who together hold 77.4% of the shares in the company, announce they are selling their entire holdings to the French company Boursorama SA. As a result, Boursorama – a major European provider of online brokerage, investment products and financial web sites – becomes the majority shareholder of the OnVista Group. The company announces a public takeover bid (€ 20.60 per share). Boursorama is part of the Société Générale Group.
Launch of the address brokerage portal Namendo. With this new, non-advertising financed internet business concept - a virtual market place for business contacts - the OnVista Group continues to firmly pursue its growth and diversification strategy.
OnVista AG is acquiring Cologne based online advertising sales company Ad2Net retroactively as at 1 January 2007. For the OnVista Group, the acquisition of Ad2Net is a further step towards becoming a broadly based internet company.
Spokesman for the Board Fritz Oidtmann resigns from the Executive Board of OnVista AG and moves to the Supervisory Board. Stephan Schubert, co-founder and member of the Executive Board up to 2003, is also appointed to the Supervisory Board. Michael W. Schwetje, previously Member of the Executive Board and responsible for the management domains Media and Finance, becomes the sole Director of OnVista AG with immediate effect.
