9th August, 2010 – OnVista Bank GmbH, a 100%-owned subsidiary of OnVista AG (DE0005461602), and Nordnet Bank AB, Bromma, Sweden (SE0000371296), have today signedan agreement about the acquisition of Nordnet’s German business. Nordnet Bank specializes in online brokerage and currently ownsabout 10,000 customer accounts in Germany.
The parties agreed on a purchase price to be paid by OnVista Bank GmbH approximately in the range of EUR 7.0 million to EUR 10.0 million. The exact amount of the purchase price will be determined not until the contract has completed in the fourth quarter of 2010.
Through OnVista Bank GmbH, Frankfurt, OnVista AG is already represented in the German brokerage business. Currently, the OnVista Bank has about 27,000 customers.
