27 July 2009 - OnVista AG (DE0005461602) today presented its preliminary figures for the first half of 2009. As expected, the decline in sales revenues from the prior year’s EUR 5.49 million to EUR 3.76 million reflected the financial market crisis and the resulting caution on the part of OnVista’s advertising customers. This trend is also evident from the company’s earnings performance, with EBIT for the first six months amounting to EUR -0.05 million compared to EUR 1.5 million in the previous year’s period. Earnings before taxes (EBT) came in at EUR 0.3 million, compared to EUR 1.9 million last year. The net result for the period amounted to EUR 0.2 million, as opposed to EUR 1.3 million in the first half of 2008.
